Christmas shoes| They Speak For Themselves

I honestly don't have to write too much about the shoes because let's face it they do speak for themselves! These are so beautiful, probably the most beautiful pair of shoes I own.
These pair of gold shoes are covered in small diamontes from the point of the toe to the tip of the heel. They sparkle in the day and night, and are brilliant as a statement piece.
The great thing about the shoes is that they are versatile in that you can wear them with jeans, skirts or dresses because of the style and the neutral tone.

If you'd like to see a video of the shoes to see the sparkle head to my Instagram (@pureaccidentalbeauty).
As you are probably wondering, these shoes are from next. I couldn't find the original shoes on the website though, so they may be sold out- I did find a similar pair in silver glitter though: http://www.next.co.uk/gl680s4#l39025gl6

Merry Christmas!

Fireworks| Perfect Until..

This isn't a post I'd normally do but I thought it was something I can share you all on a more personal level rather than just always talking about beauty or style etc. Just like a conversation between two friends..
This was me on fireworks night, all snuggled in my big fluffy coat, makeup on (as I don't always get a chance to play with makeup due to work) and a plan to see the fireworks without going into town and trying to find somewhere to park and be constantly surrounded by people (it can get so busy!)
We (Ash and I) had the plan of watching the fireworks which were going to be on a boat at Poole quay, but instead of going to the front we went round the side, where some other docks were.
We thought we'd make sausage sandwiches and bring snacks and coffee in a flask to sit and watch the fireworks on a blanket (to me this sounded an absolute delight!).

So we packed up a cool bag with the food in and made our way down to the spot we had planned. There were barely anyone there which was great! So we sat down on the blanket with a great view and started our snacking!
We finished our food and cuddled up to keep warm. The boat was just about ready to start the fireworks.
After about a minute of the display starting, I saw something move right by my feet. All I could see was this grey body and a tail. A rat! It had probably been there under a little crate the whole time but now it was running around near my feet.
I can safely say both Ash and I jumped up and packed the rest of our food away quickly! So instead of being dazzled by amazing fireworks (which from what I could see were very beautiful) we were keeping a very close eye on our new friend that had joined us hiding under the crate!

Well that's one way to ruin your fireworks night!
Has anything like this happened to you before?
Hope you enjoyed this little chat!
Speak soon!

Autumn Dress| Burnt Orange Shirt Dress

What's your favourite colour? Autumn.

In all seriousness, I love all the neutral warm tones that Autumn brings. Theres something so comforting about it. Maybe that's to do with the fact that Christmas is coming (yes I said it!) and hot beverages and blankets replace the ice lollies and bikinis!
So when I saw this dress I automatically fell in love with the colour before I'd even seen what the dress looked like.

This dress just sits perfectly on my body and hangs to flatter my curves.
I feel like this dress not only goes with boots (and a leather jacket to grunge the look up) but could be put with tights and dolly shoes with a nice tailored coat or blazer. It's just so versatile!
Both the dress and the boots were from newlook and I do feel that new look continue to up their game- really affordable yet quality stylish pieces! Which means a happy Claudia! Haha
Hope you're feeling well,
Love Claudia x
Ps sorry for the bad quality images I had to use my phone as no one was around to help take photos!

Summer pick-ups| Mini Primark Haul

Hey you!
Hope you are okay?

Just wanted to let you know of the cute things you can pick up in Primark at the moment if you are off on your holidays soon!

I Love these bits! My favourite is the palm tree style bikini, because it reminds me of a mojito! haha

Both these bikini's are the same style, you can wear both with or without the halter neck strap which is great for when you're going for different looks and activities of course. The other great thing about these is you can potentially mix and match the top and bottoms as they go really well together.

To be honest I was quite skeptical of the shorts because A) I don't feel like shorts suit me a lot of the time as they are never quite the right length; forever feeling like I have no thighs or my butt cheek hangs out the bottom. B) They are colour.. Okay they aren't pink (which you can get, as well as other colours) but they are colour and to me, this is a big deal! I really like the fit, length and style of the shorts.. they just work.

The necklace is simple yet different which is what I love about it. The gold wrapped in white and blue string make it easy to pair with most outfits.

Okay I know I said the mojito bikini was my favourite but the shoes come in a close second! They are honestly so comfy! and they are really pretty too. I haven't owned a pair like these before, they really flatter my feet and I have quite wide unflattering feet.. so really that is a major bonus! haha.
What is even better is that this is Primark, so it is hardly going to break the bank!

Hope you enjoyed this mini haul and I'll speak soon!

Love C. xx

Makeup, Food and Drinks| My Kind of Night

Makeup done- CHECK! Outfit chosen- CHECK!
Let date night commence...

Beautiful weather...For ducks

Drinks...

Food and a natter.. I love this combination of food. Olives are yum and so are rolls with oil and balsamic! If your not an olive person, they say to keep trying to eat them until you like them. It is true! Although I don't like the really salty ones- but these were so good!

Outfit of the night was kept casual, although its Spring here in the UK it is cold and wet right now. This was warm enough but didn't shout 'its still winter!' haha.

Afterwards we popped over to 'Maitai', a classy yet lively bar and had some drinks. I decided to have the Elderflower cosmo (Mmm so good) and Ash had the 'James Bond' drink- it was very strong! Not one for me to be honest. But was a lovely night non-the-less.

Hows your weekend been?

Kurt Geiger| Amazing Shoes

Hey all!

I am in love with my new shoes! They are beautiful!

Not only are these great for Spring/Summer, but as I have wide feet these cater for me too!

At times it can be a little struggle as buying gorgeous shoes that sometimes do not fit. Which is a shame but- such is life.. it is however, super exciting when I find a great pair of shoes that fit, but are really comfy as well!

Due to the tie up laces at the front (which I think are so cute) these shoes can fit slim and wider feet! The fabric is soft and the heel is only a mid height and is chunky which allows us girls to walk from the car to the restaurant/through town/ to a party without thinking the shoes are pinching!

I really recommend these shoes, they will go with trousers, skirts, shorts and dresses! GREAT!

To see them on the website click HERE (they're in the SALE!!)

Current Favourite Store| Oasis

I am absolutely loving Oasis fashion at the moment! They are killing it!

I've never really been into Oasis before, but recently I've stumbled onto their website and discovered their range and I am definitely impressed!

I chose a few of the items on their website to show you what sort of things I'm on about. There are many more that I like too. These looks are classic and easy to put on. I love the fact that these pieces are lightweight but could be layered with either jackets or blazers.
With the Sleeveless Drape Cardi, you could pop a long sleeve top underneath or wear it with shorts which I think would look super cute and I find it an exciting piece that could be worn lots of different ways.
I find these so suitable for Spring because you can add a bit of colour with the amazing range of prints or accessories that are available.

Also, I am super excited for the 'Loved by Mollie' range which is coming out soon! I love her style and am keen to see what sort of pieces she is loving.

Lets just say I'm excited for payday. I may have to add a few of these to my wardrobe as 'must -have staples'...

What's your favourite shop at the moment? Anything you're dying to get your hands on?

Furry Coats and Cute Collars| A outfit for lunch and a stroll

Note to self: wear white bra...

Hey Ya'll!

I love the look of the cute girly collar with the fluffy furry coat. It casual yet smart and I like that about this outfit.

The coat (from H&M) is super cosy and warm and I feel like I can wear this with most outfits. I've had this Shirt (Similar) from Jack Wills for a while and I still love wearing it.
The Jeans are super comfy and have a bit of stretch to cling to your curves, there is nothing worse than wearing saggy jeans!
The bag is from Zara and the shoes are Converse.

I'm hoping to get more of these shirts with collars to add to my wardrobe staples.

Infinity Dreams Award| Nomination

So recently I had a comment on one of my blogposts that I had been nominated for the Infinity Dreams Award. I personally hadn't heard much about this but was intrigued none the less and thought it would be fun to answer these questions too!

The rules of the award is to thank and follow the blog that nominated you,
I was nominated by That Deer Girl so thank you!

Then answer the questions set by the blogger that nominated you; which should allow all you wonderful people to get to know me!

After that nominate 11 bloggers and set questions for them.

So here are my 11 questions, enjoy:

1) Where do you see yourself in 6 Years time?
I would like to think that I will potentially be living and working abroad, perhaps Australia?

2) If you could do blogging as your full time job, would you?
I would definitely consider it, it is a big commitment and I think I would have to cross that bridge when/if I ever got there.

3) Does your family and friends know about your blog?
I think all my friends know I have a blog and most of my family know too! They're all pretty supportive of it too which is nice.

4) What was your favourite subject at school?
I was a science girl, I really just found it so interesting. I wasn't amazingly clever at it but I just enjoyed it. I also quite enjoyed art, but I think my style was more abstract haha!

5) What is your current job and is it your dream job?
I currently work in the NHS and at the moment I would say it is, but I would never say it is my dream job for life because goals and dreams can change and I'm always open to change! :)

6) What is your favourite hairstyle?
I love when my hair is super bouncy and voluminous, just down or maybe with a cute hair accessories pulling back my bangs loosely.

7) Do you have any animals?
No I don't, I used to have a giant french lop earred rabbit who was adorable. I would love to get another rabbit or a dog. Sometimes I do borrow my friends dog to take on walks though.

8) What is your dream car?
I would love a Baby Porche 4WD, or and Audi A3 soft top.

9) Do you have any siblings?
Yes I have an older sister and an older brother. So I'm the youngest at 21 years old.

10) Do you enjoy reading? If so what are you currently reading?
I do like reading, its more to do with not having a lot of time to read. I'm currently reading Tanya Burr's book 'Love Tanya' which I'm enjoying. I would really recommend 'The first fifteen lives of Harry August' by Claire North.

11) Favourite high street clothes shop?
How could you ask me this? haha It's difficult to only choose one....so I'll choose three haha!
Love Urban Outfitters, Topshop and Asos!

QUESTIONS FOR YOU TO ANSWER:

1) What is your favourite food?
2)If you were stuck on a desert island, what would be your one and only beauty or skincare item you would bring?
3) What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday?
4) Favourite colour?
5) One restaurant you would recommend and what food they do?
6) What is a staple item of clothing that you would not go without?

Outfit of the Month| Valentines day

Even if you have that special someone in your life, or if you're going out with your girlfriends and living up the single life- we need an outfit. Well, at least in my opinion it's a good excuse to get one!
I have chosen an outfit that doesn't scream Valentines day, a) because I don't often wear red or pink and b) because I want to be able to wear this outfit again another time.

The shirt, skirt, bag and shoes are all from Primark. The shoes were bought a while ago but I'm certain I've seen nude shoes that could go perfectly with this outfit. I haven't decided on wearing tights or not- it depends on how cold it is and how brave I'm feeling!

The red nail varnish if from the Estee Lauder gift set and the Mac lipstick is Russian Red- both of which I have previously blogged about.

I think the red nails and lips add an extra pop of colour and makes the look more Valentines day appropriate, but still has class and can be worn on other occasions too. This look is easy to dress up with a blazer and heels or dress down with flats and a cardigan.

Let me know what you're wearing, are you going out with the girls or doing something with your loved one? I just want to add that although this is a day to show the one you love how you feel, this really should be shown throughout the year and should include how much you love your family and friends too!

I hope you found some inspiration for an outfit and I hope you have a wonderful Valentines day whatever you are doing.

Love C.

Jewellery storage| Eye candy

Hey you,
Hope you are feeling fab this fine Sunday evening?!

Recently I've been thinking about storage. I really enjoy looking at the different ways you can store your makeup, jewellery etc. There's just something so attractive in putting your favourite things into a gorgeous display for your eyes to enjoy.

Today I fancied showing you some jewellery storage that I've been loving recently (and can't decide between!)

Picture from Notonthehighstreet

Well hi there birdies! I really think this is super sweet, and I love the fact there are two together, one tall, one small..just yes! Also you have more storage, for more jewellery *wink wink*. With this storage it would hold a very good amount of necklaces and bracelets, potentially rings, but would need some other sort of storage for earrings.

Picture from Urban outfitters

Firstly, I just adore this jewellery holder itself. It does not even need anything hanging from it it's that awesome, in my opinion. But even so I would only apply minimal things to this and definitely not overload it, otherwise I think it would be too much to take in all at once.

Picture from Urban Outfitters

I adore this vintage looking jewellery box- HOW BEAUTIFUL! It is so dainty yet almost gothic, I just love it! I would however be more inclined to use this just for rings or earrings as necklaces can get their knickers in a right twist and we all know how hard it is to untangle them..

Picture from Amazon

This is lovely, a) as it comes in two different colours to choose and b) because it is not only a stand but a trinket dish too! So your stylish rings can chill at the bottom of the tree and the birdies up top can look after your necklaces and bracelets.

Picture from Amazon

This is simple yet sophisticated and multifunctional. You can pop earrings of all kinds to the left and hang necklaces and bracelets to the right. You could potentially drape jewellery on the heart and swirls too or even cute hair bows, ribbons etc.

Picture from Lisa Angel

OMG. Love this! Perfect for rings, earrings and general small jewellery. Ideal as you can still see your jewellery through the top, it is separated into little compartments, but it is all kept neatly in one gorgeous coloured box (with lace!!).

How cute are all of these?! It's so hard to choose, I want them all! May have to get at least two of these.
What storage have you got? Do you prefer boxes, trinket dishes, stands?
