Banana Pancakes| Healthy way to start the day- QUICKLY!

Banana Pancakes!

Firstly these are pancakes! Sooooo yummy.
Secondly they have 2 ingredients! Sooooo easy.

These are so quick to make and are a super healthy alternative to normal pancakes and taste totally delicious!

I got this recipe from Blogilates but I honestly thought these were so good that I couldn't not share this with you guys!

All you need is:

2x eggs
1x banana

Blend these together..

In a pan on a medium heat pop in a dash of oil and pour the mixture in (either mini pancakes as above or slightly bigger).

Turn them over when golden brown and once cooked, stack with berries/banana/ honey/ syrup or whatever you'd like!

So easy, quick and yummy. Again this isn't my recipe but I think it is such an awesome dish!

Any awesome yet quick breakfast recipe's to share? Leave them down below, I'd love to try them!

Until next time my beauts!

Breakfast of the week| I can't get enough of..

Hello all!

I just wanted to let you know my favourite breakfast of the week that I'm absolutely in love with at the moment!

I never used to like avocado, especially as a kid and would always refuse it. I just used to think it was slimy and bland and would always give it to my brother because he liked it.

Now - I can't get enough! If I could, I'd probably have it with every meal. Avocado is actually a superfood that is a fruit! Yes, a fruit! It has so many health benefits such as having more potassium than a banana, high in good fat which is better for your heart than normal fats and is high in fibre and could help lower your cholesterol. There has been some research to support that avocados can help promote weight loss.

In the mornings I've been loving a ripe avocado, mashed on top of toast with thinly sliced tomato and a pinch of salt. It is delicious! I would definitely recommend this as a breakfast idea, snack or even a lunch idea too!
Perhaps if I find another meal amazing I can share some recipes or meal ideas with you!

Ps sorry about the poor quality photo!

Spa Getaway| Macdonald Hotel and Resorts Lymington

My best friend and I had some major catching up to do and hadn't seen each other in 6 months, so we had the brilliant idea of going onto Wowcher and finding a deal to have a one night stay at a spa.
We found this one at Macdonald Hotel and Resorts which included one nights stay, a 30 minute treatment in the spa, use of the leisure facilities, a three course meal, free wifi and a full English breakfast in the morning.

There were several treatments to choose from, my friend chose the back, shoulder and neck massage and I chose to have the 'Sole delight grooming for feet'. Both were very enjoyable and relaxing treatments. Mine consisted of laying down on the bed (below) and having my feet and up to my knees, exfoliated, massaged, left in a mask, and massaged again. All the products used were Elemis products and it was so lovely. While my feet were in a mask for 5 minutes I had a scalp massage too.

My legs and feet were so soft and I started to feel so relaxed.
Afterwards we decided to have a bit of lunch and then have a little walk around the grounds.. it was so COLD!

For the rest of the day we went to the pool, had a nice swim and went in the steam room.
(I wasn't able to take my own photo of the pool, this is from their website)

The three course meal was delightful and I have to admit I think I had the best cheesecake ever, it was honeycomb and Oh MY... it was so good! There is a picture of it on my Instagram :) (Link below).

Our stay was really great and I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to have a girly weekend or a couples getaway. I'm looking forward to hopefully doing this again some time.

Juicer recipe| Kiwi and Orange

I love a good juice, don't you?

I try and make it with as least one vegetable and the great thing about juicers is that you don't have to peel the fruit or veg you use, apart from things like oranges as they can make the juice bitter. So it's super super quick and easy.

I'm going to show you one recipe that I've been having recently, and if you like I can show more in the future?! Let me know in the comments.

Here are the things you will need!

A JUICER!

2 Oranges, Handful of Kale, 2 Apples, A few bits of Broccoli, 2 Kiwis, Handful of Raspberries and 2 Celery Sticks.
After Peeling the Orange, pop it all in!

and Juice!

The juice comes out in order of the fruit or veg you put through, hence the colours!
With this it means you'll need to give it a 'good ol' stir!
So it should look like this!

DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE COLOUR BECAUSE IT TASTES AMAZING! Really yummy, as you can taste the fruit more than any of the veg.

I hope you enjoyed this and its inspired you in some way.

Wake me up| Breakfast Smoothie

Hey guys, I thought I'd share with you a smoothie that I've been loving for breakfast. I was inspired by the breakfast smoothie I had from 'Pret A Manger', so this is my take on it. Its pretty quick to put together, and you can change some ingredients to make it slightly healthier*. Also if you're thinking a smoothie would not fill you up, I really think you should try it as I can safely say it fills me up from 8am until 12 in the afternoon- ready for lunch!

So I'm going to go ahead and show you..

You will need (for one large glass):
A Glass
A Blender
A Banana
One Cup of Milk*
Just under half a Cup of Oats
1 Teaspoon of Peanut Butter*
1 Tablespoon of Honey*
3-4 Ice Cubes
Half a Cup of Water

Step one: Break up the banana into chucks and put into the blender

Step two: Add the oats!

Step three: Add the tablespoon of honey

Step four: PEANUT BUTTER mmmmmm

Step five: add the water, milk and ice (you can alter this as to how thick you want your smoothie)

BLENDY BLENDY BLEND!

After a minute or so, turn it off, pour and enjoy!

This is such a tastey smoothie and so easy when on the go as you can pour it into a drinks container that you can just pop in your bag and have when you want it!

Hope you enjoy this blog and give it a go yourself! Let me know how it goes in the comments section and whether you like it!
